Devices

Open Devices after selecting a tenant. Search by name or DevEUI and combine the status, organization, and device-type filters to narrow the list. Use Previous and Next below the table to move through the results, and choose 25, 50, or 100 entries per page. Changing a filter or the page size returns to the first page. The result count is the exact number of Devices visible under the active filters, not an estimate or the size of the current page.

Device-type and organization filters search the server instead of relying on a single preloaded page. Enter a search term and select Load more when the result has another page. Organization results show their visible ancestor path and never include branches outside your access scope.

Search, status, organization, device type, and page size are stored in the URL. The current cursor page stays in browser history only: returning from a Device detail during the same browser session restores that page, while a full reload starts at page 1 with the URL filters and page size intact. After a successful edit, the list reloads the current page. If that page has become empty, it moves back one page. Select the linked Device name to open its detail page. The list focuses on inventory data; resource actions live on the detail page.

Register a device

1. Select Create device.
2. Enter a recognizable name.
3. Enter the 16-character hexadecimal DevEUI without separators.
4. Select a device type and, when available, an organization.
5. Save the device.

The DevEUI is the permanent network identity and cannot be changed or reused. Check it against the physical device before saving. The selectors use the same server search and explicit Load more behavior as the inventory filters.

Change an assignment

On the Device detail page, select Change organization to move a device to another organization. The move applies immediately. The paginated assignment history remains on the same page with each validity period. It loads 25 periods at a time from a fixed upper anchor. Load older entries appends a page; Refresh starts a new investigation. A failed older page preserves the periods already loaded, and the loaded count is not an exact total.

Platform and tenant administrators can end an assignment without choosing a new organization. Organization administrators can only move devices within the areas they manage.

Device status

• Active means the device can be used in its assigned area.
• Disabled pauses normal use and allows controlled changes such as choosing another device type.
• Retired is permanent and ends the current assignment.

Use Retire only when the physical device must never return to service. Viewers can search and inspect history but do not see editing actions.

Current values

The Device detail page presents the latest Flow value for every active field of the current Device Type directly. It shows field name and key, value with unit, and the normalized Netmore measurement time. No value yet means the field is prepared but no successful Flow execution has stored it. The linked Device Type opens its own detail page.

Current values are a snapshot, not a history. An older delayed or replayed Raw message still adds Timeseries measurements but cannot move the snapshot backwards. A replay of the same latest Raw row may replace it with a corrected value. Changing the Device Type removes the old-type snapshot while preserving Timeseries and audit history.

Viewer and organization-admin access follows the same organization visibility as the Device inventory.

Open the dashboard

Select Open dashboard on the Device detail page to open the fixed telemetry view for that Device. The dashboard combines the current field snapshot with the bounded 1-hour, 24-hour, 7-day, or 30-day history. The canonical /tenants/{tenantNumber}/devices/{deviceId}/dashboard address can be reloaded, bookmarked, and shared with another authorized user.

Depending on permission and status, the detail page also offers editing, Flow parameters, organization assignment, and permanent retirement. Platform administrators can continue to tenant Raw data with the DevEUI filter already prepared; the filter is local browser history state and is not copied into the address.
